Det har vakt en del forudsigelig debat at nogle århusianske børneinstitutioner har valgt ikke at servere svinekød, som den eneste af de gængse kødtyper. I en artikel i BUPL.dk kan man læse at Ruth Theilmann…

...tidligere overfor Børn & Unge forklaret, at institutionerne netop ikke ønsker at efterleve den slags religiøse skikke. Ifølge hende er “svinekøds-beslutningen” truffet af rent praktiske årsager – blandt andet for at de muslimske børn ved et uheld ikke kommer til at spise svinekød.

Jamen det er jo klart som blæk. Man efterlever ikke religiøse skikke, men fjerner bare det, som de muslimske børns forældre kunne tænkes at finde anstødelige, sådan rent pratisk. Og hvad ligger der i øvrigt i det rent praktiske? På hvilken måde kunne det blive “upraktisk”, hvis nogen fandt ud af at Ahmed havde spist en rød pølse?

  1. Reaktioner som her, når fars store pige træder i karakter og udfører den æresrelaterede handling, som far jo på forhånd,klart har tilkendegivet, i givet fald, at ville have udvidet til hele “mopperens” famillie.
